Kuwait Airways (KU: IATA, KAC: ICAO) is the
official national carrier of the State of Kuwait.
Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent

Airways will boast the youngest commercial airline fleet in the world.Kuwait Airways is recruiting for the role of Finance Director.In this role, your tasks will
include but not be limited to:
Planning, coordinating and directing the activities
of assigned personnel in the Finance Department.
Directing the preparation of
long-term business plans and annual budgets in conjunction with the Deputy
Finance Director, Financial Accounting and Treasury, and the Deputy Finance
Director, Financial Control, and the Budget Committee. You are to assist the Chairman and Managing Director in
setting the annual budget of financial targets for all departments in KAC.
Initiating programs of financial and
accounting systems in conjunction with the Deputy Finance Director for
Financial Accounting and Treasury to meet KAC financial policies and procedures
and statutory requirements, and ensuring proper implementation of such systems.
Directing the preparation of the closing
of KAC annual accounts, periodic financial statements on the Company's
financial position as well as the profit/loss accounts with supporting
statements, and ensuring the timely presentation to Top Management and the
Ministry of Finance.
Directing and coordinating all cash
movement for KAC and monitors all KAC accounts.
You are to work in conjunction with the Deputy Finance
Director for Financial Control to provide the appropriate level of financial
expertise, both in quantity and quality, and you are to assist the Departments Directors in
achieving their financial targets and in executing all of their financial
affairs in accordance with KAC rules and regulations and procedures.
University degree in Accounting.
professional financial and accounting qualifications
Master degree in accounting is preferred.
More than 15 years' of experience in an accounting field, of
which 10 years should have been as a financial controler of a large company.
No less than
6 years of experience in a supervisory position within the Airline Industry.
