Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Personnel Affairs Division. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
Directs and coordinates the recruitment activities involving employees and trainees, locally of the various departments in the Corporation to meet the manpower requirements, ensuring that suitably qualified applicants are employed in accordance with the Corporation's rules and regulations. Develops and recommends amendments to procedures to place the selected applicant on the payroll.
Directs and monitors the processing of promotions and increments, ensuring that percentage increases are kept within the budget limits agreed by Management. Deals with problems or queries. Recommends after discussion with the Director and the appropriate Section Manager responsible for the department, promotions, extraordinary increments and changes in job title or grade, forwarding to the appropriate level of Management for approval.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
12 years' experience in various personnel duties with a major airline.
