Job Description:
Basic Function &
Scope :
Administering technical examinations ,vetting approval applications ,and monitoring staff
approvals.
Task and Duties : Remain
current with applicable regulatory requirements which include, but not limited
to, Kuwait DGCA, EASA, FAA, Human Factors and safety requirements.
Maintain
& update (Digitally and hard copy) all certifying staff approval
documentation and ensure security of records.
Carry
out vetting of certifying staff approval application ensuring that all
applicable requirements are fulfilled.
Carry
out the required arrangements for certifying staff approval examination
ensuring that the requirements of EQCP are fully satisfied and that the
applicant has been informed of the examination details ahead of time.
Ensure
that all certifying staff receive an up-to-date approved copy of his/her
approval certificate and a copy of maintained in his/her file.
Ensure
that all staff approval certificates remain valid for license, Type approvals, EASA and HF recurrent
training and ensure that staff are informed of expiry dates at least 30
days earlier.
Conducts
and follows through on planned audits as assigned.
Accompany
external auditors during their audits of Kuwait Airways as assigned.
Follow-up
the day-to-day technical issues with other operators in technical matter
related to the certification of KAC aircraft by other operators or in matter
related to certification of other operators by KAC.
Participate
in or conduct / lead technical investigations and ensure corrective
measures are taken / recommended to eliminate future re-occurrence.
May be
required to carry out special projects and assignments as assigned by his
superiors or management.
Ensure
the required filling and administration of all correspondences is carried
out.
Requirement:
a. B.Sc. in Aeronautical
Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronics Engineering
Or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
(Double License ) with equivalent technical knowledge.
b. 2 years civil aircraft experience as an approved engineer.
