Job Description:
Participates and directs designing and testing program logic according to
program specifications, as reviewed with Systems Analyst, coding programs and
preparing them for computer operation. Includes preparing logic flow charts and
coding routines necessary to process data, and assigning segments of
programming to Programmers. Also may participate with Analyst, Systems in
establishing program specifications with users and in parallel running acceptance
testing.
Participates in the establishment of job requirements and processing
specifications for automated portions of the system. Includes breaking down job
specifications to outline design and flow chart for subordinates, establishing job
language with team and scheduling target dates for programming completion.
Tests operation of completed programs and their linkage to other programs.
Includes preparing test data, inputting test data into computer and checking
output for accuracy. Reviews own or subordinates' test results in liaison with
Analyst, Systems.
Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
4 years' experience in programming, good knowledge of at least 3 programming languages.
